Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Minnesota Duration : 6 Month Contract *Note:Only Local to Minnesota not from state.* Job Description: Success Attributes: •Confidence to dive in and learn new solutions and processes without a lot of assistance •Ability to work independently and as a team member •Ability to cope with a fast-paced, changing environment •Interviewing and fact gathering expertise •Excellent skills in business process flow and improvement •Solid understanding of systems design and architecture •Experience writing and executing test cases Principal Accountabilities & Authority: •Understand current systems and business processes to become the subject matter expert for assigned areas •Accurately and efficiently translate business requirements to high level and atomic level specifications •Produce wireframes and prototypes to help communicate user experience to IT •Develop and present conceptual and functional models along with cross-functional process and system dependencies •Maintain consistent communication with internal and external business partners and customers •Accountable for meeting delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks •Construction and execution of test cases and plans •Drive user training, documentation and post-implementation turnover to business and support personnel •Other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Minimum 5 years as a business analyst •Experience in SDLC activities for web technologies and a strong history of successful implementations •Solid understanding of Java language and Agile methodology •Prefer experience in multi-channel retail (e-commerce, catalog, mail); experience with credit systems and/or financial services a plus. •Proven experience defining and documenting requirements and use/test cases on multiple projects •Proven experience documenting current and future state process flows and recommending improvements •Enthusiasm, creativity and desire to work in an innovative team that is the strategic focus of overall company growth •Strong understanding of usability best practices, information architecture principles and A/B/MVT testing •Excellent time management skills •Experience with online financial account management/web based billing & payment systems a plus •Familiarity with retail ecommerce best practices and web site merchandising preferred •Solid knowledge of customer facing ecommerce technologies landscape preferred ............................................................................................................
