Knowledge in Satellite Server system Knowledge in SAN and Network. Preferred Requirements/Skills: High school education degree. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Review, install, maintain, and test operating system and application software on Unix/Linux server platforms. Administer and tune Unix/Linux servers for optimum operating efficiency. Perform local security auditing and updates on Unix/Linux platforms. Provide technical guidance to peers by instructing them in the maintenance and support of various components of the multi-processing systems hosted in the Unix/Linux environment. Assist with the architecture, design and implementation of an offsite datacenter for redundancy purposes Assist with the architecture and enhancement of distributed enterprise backup systems.
