*Position :: (Network Engineer)Firewall and Proxy production support* *Location :: Plano, TX* *Duration :: 6 months * * 5+ years support and deployment experience with McAfee Web Gateway or related products. * 5+ years' experience with deployment, and troubleshooting Firewall, IDS, and VPN services (Cisco ASA, Juniper) * 3+ years support and deployment experience with F5 LTM, GTM, or Web Accelerators * 4+ years design and deployment experience with Cisco Routers and Switches *2+ years experience with supporting and troubleshooting Cisco ASA Firewalls, Routers, & Switches * Web services and network management tools experience a plus * Network related certifications a plus (CCNA, CCNP, F5 BIG-IP Admin) * Linux Server and network management tools experience a plus * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to work with internal and mixed technology virtual teams *Responsibilities:* Provide technical deployment capabilities for the Global Network Production Services specializing in Firwalls, Web Gateway /Proxy based application delivery services, and be the primery for blocking and addressing Botnet issue or list coming from Pepsico Securty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of network routers, switches, and specifically the McAfee web proxy and F5 load balancer platform suites. They must have a strong desire to drive the availability of the Web Proxy infrastructure and FW systems and support all types of application delivery services. An ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment across the global enterprise is a must. The candidate will need to support and troubleshoot application and infrastructure problems while dealing with data center class application delivery and business continuity plans for the global enterprise. Additionally, the candidate will provide secondary Network Extranet services working with peers in the support of all extranet services (Firewall, Network Load Balancers, IP Services, Network Authentication, and direct Internet access connectivity).
