Title: Sr. Disaster Recovery Consultant posted on 2014-01-29 09:42:22

Job Description:The consultant MUST HAVE the following experience.

The deliverables for this engagement will be written identification of the
key mission critical IT systems that must be in operation for the company
to continue effective operations in the wake of a major emergency event.
This assessment would include a brief rationale of why each service is
mission critical and outline the potential impact if each service was not
available for an extended period along with a written estimate of the
minimum cost it would take to provide that service in line with the RPO and
RTO defined below.
The assessment needs to identify the minimum number of people who would
need access in case of an emergency along with their roles.
For each mission critical service, the consultant needs to identify: The
Recovery Point Objective (RPO)--the point in time in the past to which data
for the service must be recovered, i.e., how much data can be lost and
still be acceptable; and The Recovery Time Objective (RTO)--the point in
time after the emergency that the service must be restored, i.e., how long
can the company survive without that service.
