Please share suitable profiles towards below position to vi...@pronixinc.com *Role: Senior Peoplesoft Database Adminstrator* Job Location: New York, NY *(Face-to-Face is required)* Duration: 6+ Months *Description:* Define, document and implement a highly available configuration of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Portal. Provide application and database support for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Portal and related applications including ImageNow. Monitor and optimize system performance, perform troubleshooting and make recommendations to improve reliability, availability and stability. *Required Experience* 10+ years experience with necessary expertise in managing the application and database of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions running on Oracle RAC. Candidate should have extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator and PeopleSoft Application Administrator including installation, configuration, performance tuning and load testing. Be able to provide support in an enterprise system and application environment. Be able to work independently and to meet the required time lines of the project. Must have experience in installation and configuration of the Web and Application tiers (PIA), including process scheduler and integration broker. *Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and knowledge of Linux including writing shell scripts. Web architecture and infrastructure knowledge required. Be able to install and maintain updates of Oracle Grid, RAC and RMAN technologies. Expertise in Backup and Recovery procedures, and architectures required. Problem solving and communication skills required. Must have experience in setting up Oracle Data Guard as well as disk storage replication. Ability to do performance tuning of the application and database is required. Must have hands on experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, PeopleSoft Portal, and load testing/performance tuning. *Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Knowledge of High Availability Solutions would be valuable. Working with an F5 Load Balancer in a database environment would be preferred. Knowledge of Quest Shareplex would be preferred.
