Note Must have PMP certification or CSM certification and Local to CT !!* *Job Description* Projects will vary, but will generally be in the Financial Systems space - with emphasis on PeopleSoft and Legal, Regulatory, Compliance (LRC) systems, Enterprise Reporting as well as Human Capital and Corporate Portals. The person will not have supervisory accountability, but they will lead the development team as the Project Manager. Teams are virtual and form around specific projects. Top responsibilities for this position: Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel. Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel. Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI). Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel. Establish and execute a project communication plan. Software tools/skills needed: MS Project Excel , Word Other browser-based software *Must have: * Communications skills - very strong verbal and written skills Managing concurrent projects in a very large organization as a dedicated PM (split roles, e.g., BA/PM, experience will be discounted.)
