Designs, researches and develops highly advanced, reliable, scalable and secure network architecture that will provide strategic direction to the organization. Required Knowledge and Skills: · Advanced knowledge of Wide Area Network (*WAN)* management and configuration principles. · Advanced knowledge of Cisco Networking hardware and *IOS.* · Advanced knowledge of networks, security guidelines and industry "best practices". · Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware devices specifically Cisco ASA Firewalls, 6500 series switches - sup 2, 32, 720 models, Routers, and Nexus Switches. · Cisco VPN - Tunnel creation and client setups · Knowledge in FatPipe and F5 appliances · Advanced skills in solving complex technical problems involving integrated operating systems and hardware platforms. · Advanced skills in configuring and installing equipment to support *LAN/WAN* applications. · Advanced skills in analyzing data and implementing solutions. · Knowledge of a wide variety of operating and server systems · Understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts and applications. · Proven ability to apply technology and process solutions to business problems. · Proven ability to manage large and complex projects and issues. · Experience in a large inter-networking or distributed computing environment. · Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. · Proven ability to work independently to complete projects/goals. · Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
