Role : Sr. Software Java Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 8+ months
Interview process : IN-PERSON interview after phone with Client.
Description attached - primary keys follow:
· 8+ years' experience Java/J2EE client/server and object oriented
software development utilizing Java, XML, Oracle
· Experienced with UNIX writing shells scripts
· Experience with JMS and MQ programing
· Experience with financial industry messaging systems ( SWIFT, FIX,
FpML ) a strong plus and will get preference
· Excelelnt comm skills expected.
Work as a member of the software engineering team, primarily within the scope
of the Client's in designing, implementing and enhancing the server-side
components
of the system.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams for specific Product
Development
efforts.
· Assist and provide input during the creation of business requirements
and functional design.
· Work with technical architects to define and document system designs
and solutions consistent with the prescribed architecture.
· Work with teams of software engineers and developers on multiple
and complex software development efforts.
· Work with the QA staff during various phases of testing and test
case preparation.
Primary relationships will be with other members of the development team as
well as members of the Cross-Functional teams, including Product Management,
Product Design, Testing and Release Services and Project Management.
