*Interview mode: Phone than F2F**/Skype* *Job Description: *We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer who will take ownership of the quality of our web applications. We need someone who will enjoy development of test automation suites, as well as creation of test cases and manual testing. As part of an Agile development/QA team, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining product test automation strategy; will design, implement and maintain test automation suites for web applications, make decisions on applying automated/manual testing approach to specific projects in her/his responsibility. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* • Develop automated test harness • Establish standards of test scripts, test suites and libraries for the automation test system • Develop scripts for testing a web application • Evaluate engineering functional specification and other project documentation and compose test cases to fully verify the correctness of functionality • Ensure the coverage of test cases and user identified scenarios. Document and reveal potential problems, identify and log software defects and verify defects resolution *Additional Responsibilities:* • Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to the group • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Other duties may be assigned. *QUALIFICATIONS * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. *EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* Required • Bachelor in Computer Science (Master’s degree preferred), related degree, or equivalent experience • 3 + years in automated testing and/or software development or • Scripting and white-box testing experience • Knowledge of Ruby and two or more of the following languages and tools: Javascript, Selenium, Cucumber, Python. • Experience writing behavior-driven test cases, preferably using Cucumber • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC • Must have a great attitude, have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities *Preferred * • 4+ years in application and systems-level testing • Experience in Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development • Knowledge of Rails, Ruby, RSpec, test-unit and Jasmine are definite pluses.
