Job Requirements: The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience on internet-class network based technologies in at least the following areas and hardware platforms. *Areas of Knowledge* Routing and Switching Security devices Load Balancers Scripting / Automation Support *Hardware* Cisco IOS Nexus Juniper F5 Citrix Arista *Qualifications:* - In-depth knowledge of internet architectures and associated routing, switching, load balancing and security technologies are required. - Identify, Automate, and improve Operational processes - Mitigate and eliminate the potential risk, defects, trends and vulnerabilities from rapid scale of the environment and ensure network agility without compromising quality - Strong verbal, written and communications skills - Develop and author requirements and automation techniques to improve efficiencies, enable scale and reduce costs over time - Knowledge and experience with mainstream routing protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, MST is required; - Knowledge and experience with IPv6, vrf, l2vpn, are considered a plus. - Advanced knowledge and current experience with Cisco and Juniper hardware and configuration.
