Title: Needed Sr SCCM Desktop Engineer in Marlborough, MA ***NEED LOCALS. posted on 2014-05-01 15:42:24 Job Description:HI *Title : Sr SCCM Desktop Engineer* *Location : Marlborough, MA* *Duration : 6+ months* ****NEED LOCALS for F2F INTERVIEW after Telephonic* *Description:* · Perform user, system and support requirements gathering and analysis to provide design and architectural recommendations · Research options providing functional and technical written evaluations of products and operating system upgrades and patches · Develop, organize and maintain standard operational procedures · Create Desktop/Laptop/Citrix build processes for domestic /global sites utilizing MDT · Create and communicate systems and application standards · Create and maintain systems documentation for testing and validation · Package software and design distribution methods · Perform software distribution and patch management to Windows PC’s, laptops, and Citrix servers · Maintain relevant and current knowledge and be a leader, within assigned technical fields · Prioritize work efforts, multi-task in a very fast-paced environment, and provide timely and clear updates · Submit weekly status reports and timely project status/scorecards · Provide technical consultations and presentations to IT as needed · Create and lead configuration management processes, while following all change management guidelines. · Provide disaster recovery planning for client technologies · Perform post-implementation 3rdlevel support, identifying root cause with strategic solutions to problems *Minimum Requirements:* · Experience architecting a large Windows desktop/laptop/Citrix/Active Directory environment (roaming profiles, etc) · Experience project managing, deploying and supporting large scale desktop O/S migrations and introducing new technology based on business needs and industry standards · Solid foundation designing and implementing distributions with Wise, Active Directory and SCCM for the full lifecycle with diagrams, workflow Visio’s, support documentation and training, presentations, etc. · Ability to work independently without intensive oversight – must be a go-getter and take initiative on a regular basis finding ways to avoid problems proactively rather than just fixing them after the fact) · Ability to collaborate, share the workload and provide direction to an off-shore packaging team. · Initiative and ability to research problems independently, finding root cause · Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer training and written documentation · Experience in working with global teams *Technical Proficiencies* · *Microsoft desktop technologies* · Discipline to adhere to formal system lifecycle methodology *Strong Background in the following areas:* · 2008 Server · Win7 Desktop (32 and 64 bit) plus IE9-IE11 · Office 2010 · VBScript, PowerShell and Batch scripting. · Application Packaging, using Flexera AdminStudio/InstallShield or Wise Package Studio (WiseScript experience a plus) · SCCM – Application, Software Update, and OS Deployments · Designing and implementing Group Policy settings · Desktop Image creation experience with Ghost, MDT, or similar technologies · Knowledge of SQL a plus (in relation to SMS & Citrix databases) · WMI · SCOM *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://ejobsville.com/display-job/161131> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
