Hi, Hope you are doing Great *Position: SQL Developer* *Location: Harrisburg, PA * *Type: Contract* *Max Rate:$46/hour* *Short Description: * This resource will analyze, design, develop and test code enhancements, and/or required fixes to meet the proposed requirements for the PIMS Data Collection Consolidation project. Job Description: The SQL programmer will work with the business analyst to design SQL for reports. The programmer will develop and test the SQL based upon test criteria provided by the BA. The programmer will provide tested SQL packages to the BA for further testing. The SQL programmer will ensure that all report specifications are fully documented. The BA will perform additional testing and evaluate the accuracy of the final report. The SQL programmer will work with the BA to resolve issues. *Requirements/Skills – * 3- 5 years’ experience on all Requirements and Skills listed below unless otherwise stated: Five years of experience with writing SQL queries is required in this position. MS Office experience is also a requirement of this position. Education: College degree or equivalent technical study, or commensurate experience. (Required) Possess and use database design and modeling expertise in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 (Required) Possess and use design and coding skills for report design warehousing using SQL Server Analysis Services tools (Required) Use Visual SourceSafe for source code versioning and control. (Required) Code efficient SQL code and stored procedures (Required) Create and use reusable software components where possible (Required) Test enhancement and development programs and issue fixes (Required) Conduct system testing (Required) Create content for operational documentation (Required) Research problems independently (Required) Participate in ongoing process improvement (Required) Possess ability to work in a team environment (Required) Provide estimates for change requests (Required) Ability to use Access and Excel for data analysis (Required) Understanding of Cognos Reports (Preferred) Experience and knowledge in supporting application system development life cycle.
