Role : Systems Engineer Location : Omaha, NE Duration : Long term Job Description : Systems Engineer-Expert responsible for implementing solutions as per business requirements & technical design documentation provided by solutions architects. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Document and administer infrastructure and product initiatives. · Provide support for day to day operations of a global Windows and Distributed Virtual environment and supporting infrastructure. · Create and maintain documentation for current hardware and software configurations, as well as proposed future installations and modifications to current environment. · Configure, customize, and support Windows Fileservers, Print Servers and Exchange email servers. · Support Large Virtual environment including VMware virtualization technology and EMC NAS/SAN specifically VNX & CX systems. EXPERIENCE: · 6+ years of related experience maintaining and monitoring Microsoft environments, large distributed Virtual Environments, proprietary applications, and web monitoring applications. · Experience in solution design and implementation based on business requirements & technical design documentation. · Excellent understanding of SAN/NAS technologies and Disk Arrays specifically VNX & CX systems as well as SDLC and experience with project delivery within a product driven environment. · Knowledge of Citrix solutions (5.0, 6.0 & 6.5). · Solid background and understanding and skills with Network Switches Routers and Firewalls in a Cisco and Checkpoint environment.
