Rate:  $60/hr



They are looking for an Android Engineer to work on some prototypes
Philadelphia. The developer should have 3+ years of software engineering
experience with 1-2 years at least on Android. They are focusing on UI part
of Android so experience on that is required  (creating custom views, etc).
But knowledge good knowledge of Android and Java in general is a must and
experience with Github.



Other nice to haves would be experience with other UI technologies (iOS /
Flash / HTML / Swing etc) and working knowledge of tools like Photoshop or
Fireworks.






*Windows Admin with active directory and Powershell*

Active Directory/Powershell SME - 6+ months, NY locations or REMOTE



GC, Citizens and EAD GC.

I have a client in NY in need of a consultant for 6+ months with Active
Directory and Powershell expertise (they need a Subject Matter Expert).
Must be an EXPERT in BOTH. Must also have experience in companies with more
than 1000 active users. *MUST have EXCELLENT communication skills.* Will
hire from phone/web interview.



Can potentially work *remotely* depending on candidate experience (would
need to go onsite for meetings from time to time). This can also be onsite
in any of the following NY locations: Tarrytown, Schenectady, Rochester or
Syracuse.



Rate should be around $43/hr c2c, all inclusive. MUST BE COMPETITIVE;
candidates with lower rates will be prioritized over those at or near the
cap.

*Sr. Windows Systems Administrator*

* Job Summary*
Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the
highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission
critical enterprise systems, and centrally managed or virtual desktops.
Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for
complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of
operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes
feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications.
Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership in order to
provide a high level of service to the customers of the department.

*Typical Duties and Responsibilities*
1. Manages the day-to-day operations of clients host computers by
monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are
properly maintained. Applies revisions to host system firmware and
software. Works with vendors to assist in support activities.
2. Develops new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts
and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability. Trains technical
staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
3. Develops and implements systems to centrally manage or virtualize
networked desktop computers, automate software distribution and updates,
and assure correct implementation of endpoint security policy.
4. Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving
efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or
organizations. Provide Tier III/other support per request from various
constituencies.
5. Establishes, maintains and manages users Active Directory accounts.
Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software on server
computer systems. Provides server support related to other software.
6. Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management
of the host computer operating systems, disk arrays, fiber channel
switches, tape libraries and other components.
7. Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of
mission critical host computer resources. Perform periodic performance
reporting to support capacity planning.
8. Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from
unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse. . Apply OS patches and
upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and
utilities. Configure, add and monitor new services as necessary.
9. Develops procedures, programs and documentation for backup and
restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications. .
Maintains, tests and revises the Disaster Recovery Plan to assure RPO's and
RTO's are met and IT service continuity is assured.
10. Develops and coordinates project directions and schedules to maximize
benefits and minimize impacts on client's business units, providers and
vendors.. Provides leadership in planning and implementation of projects
for computer operations and enterprise systems administration.
11. Develops tools, procedures, and training sessions for Server, Help Desk
and Information Systems staff to assist with work.
12. Manages the data center and computer host systems including hardware,
software and equipment such as air-conditioning system, UPS (uninterrupted
power system) and fire protection system.
13. Stays current with technological developments in systems administration
technology and recommends ways for client to take advantage of new
technology.
This position may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and all
IT positions perform other related duties as assigned.

*Minimum Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Demonstrated
skill and experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year
for year basis.

Five years work experience in complex systems design, programming and
systems software and support.

Knowledge of: Programming languages and operating systems; current
equipment and technologies in use; Windows system administration,
enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance
monitoring tools; effective project management techniques.

Ability to: Plan, organize and document complex system design activities
and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional
policies/procedures; communicate technical/complex information both
verbally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperation, understanding,
trust and credibility; perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to
emergency situations effectively.

*Required Skills and Experience*

  *Active Directory*
Successful administration of a multiple domain environment, including:

·         Scripted automation of account creation and access controls.
PowerShell preferred, alternate scripting skills considered.

·         Successful implementation experience with virtualization and
maintenance of security compliance tools, auditing and verifying compliance
of security settings throughout Active directory and on all networked
servers, desktops and domain laptops.

·         Use of RODC's and trust relationships to securely support SSO
with partner organizations.

·         Successful experience with user account migration between domains
in a forest

·         Experience in identifying application dependencies on AD, and
testing and implementing upgrade of AD functional levels.

·         Experience with AD administration in an enterprise of 1000 or
more users.


*Microsoft Exchange Administration*

·         Experience administering and monitoring Microsoft Exchange for
high availability

·         Experience upgrading and migrating users between Exchange
versions and environments

·         Demonstrated Tier III troubleshooting ability and knowledge of
AD/Exchange interaction, including knowledge of Kerberos and schema
modification


*Virtualization and VDI experience*

·         Experience managing and maintaining a Vsphere environment,
including virtualized servers running MS-SQL, Sharepoint, file and print
services.

·         Successful implementation of a VDI infrastructure, Citrix Xen
Desktop preferred.


*Mobile Device Management*

Experience with BES,  Good, AirWatch, MobileIron, or equivalent
