Local to CA Only !! Role : Net/MVC Location : Northridge, California ( Local to CA only) Duration :Long term Job Description : solid .Net and MVC experienced engineer. This person must have current .NET MVC Framework experience. Position Responsibilities: * Proven ability to independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation and updating as it relates to the .NET MVC Framework. * Define new processes, standards, or operational plans based on business requirements. * Develops solution to complex business problems that is consistent with company objectives. * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally * Solid business analysis skill. Must have good inter-personal skills * Develop and maintain ASP.NET/VB.NET * Strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. * Build new systems with .NET 4.0 / ASP.NET / VB.NET / SQL Server 2008 / WCF Web Services / WCF Data Services . * Develop new functionality on our existing software products. * Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations * Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule. * Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective. Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed * Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies. Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadlines KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree (preferred Computer Science) * 7+ years software developer experience. * 4-5 years of experience functioning as .NET developer using MVC (preferably at mid to large, multi-dimensional organization) * 4+ years experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET * 4+ years working with SQL Server JOB EXPERIENCE * Proficiency with .Net development including creation of standard and custom objects and fields etc. * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance. * Deep knowledge of the .NET 4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2010, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET. * Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices. * Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). * Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures. * Experience with JQuery or similar technologies. * Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. * Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary. * Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills. * Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and mentoring a team of developers.
