Must possess a solid background in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing 2. Must have experience in large multi-terabyte DW environments 3. Must have Netezza Hardware and Network component knowledge 4. Develop and define administrative and operational standard practices using Netezza utilities (Groom, Distribution, statistics, Zone Maps) 5. Define and configure monitoring and alerting events to track performance and integrate and configure with enterprise monitoring and event solution 6. GRA and WLM configuration experience 7. Develop, define and setup backup and restore, high availability and disaster recovery processes and mechanisms with infrastructure, technical and business teams to ensure system availability meets service requirements 8. Analyze query execution plans, optimize query performances, and tune Netezza appliances 9. Work collaboratively with architects to identify, troubleshoot, review and resolve any errors and performance issues 10. Candidate must have good SQL knowledge and strong Unix experience 11. Solid experience in Netezza system configuration and setup with its utilities and tool sets 12. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills 13. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization 14.
