Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Oracle CUM SQL DBA * *Duration:** 3 months with continued extensions * *Location:** New York near Wall Street* *Local candidates** only* *Interview Process:** Phone then face to face* *Rate: $60/hr* *Required Skills: * · *7+ years of Oracle DBA experience* on Unix environment · Strong Experience with Oracle ASM storage and Oracle RAC · *Experience with SQL coding and tuning* · *Must have experience with Oracle11g, Oracle RAC*, Oracle Grid, RMAN and Unix shell scripting · Must be hands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DB tasks. · Deep knowledge with Oracle 11g databases, strong RAC/clustering experience, RMAN, and Data Guard experience required. · Must demonstrate proficiency to administer Oracle databases running in AIX · Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills required. Must be able improve SQL performance. · Ability to diagnose problems and triage/resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server, or storage tiers). · Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, shell scripts, PL/SQL, cron, or other techniques. · *7+years of SQL Server Database administration* experience. (2000, 2005, 2008, 2012) · *Expert level of SQL Server RDBMS* installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring skills with hands-on experience in -large and very dynamic environments. · Experience with SQL Server Cluster, Replication, Log Shipping for HA/DR. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Experience with very complex database environments. · *Must have experience in SQL and/or PL/SQL.* · Experience in working controlled environment, change control, and validated systems. *Functional/Management Skills: * · Strong commitment to following SDLC/Change-Management principles · Self-starter and be able to perform work with minimal supervisory direction · Knowledge of data quality, data management and data testing strategies and practices · Strong Oral and written skills. · Able to communicate efficiently and effectively to technical and nontechnical audiences. · Anticipate and handle critical situations. · Ability to thrive in change.
