Title: Need Automation Tester posted on 2014-07-07 14:40:15 Job Description:Position: Automation Test Engineer with Selenium, Java Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 3-6 Months+ Description & Skills: • Participates in design sessions with emphasis on test strategies and planning. • Creates Test Plans by analyzing and decomposing Detail Design Documents, Functional Specification Documents, and Existing System Behavior. • Uses Test Plans and User Scenario Documents that detail business functionality. • Creates Test Scripts that detail system navigation, system input, and expected test results. • Executes Test Plans and Scripts verifying expected results. • Logs defects using Defect Tracking system. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of formal testing experience. --------------------------------------------- Additioanl details confirmed by the Manager: Q. Describe the project they will be working on? A. The contractor will be providing Quality Engineering support for a project for the eBay Returns Protection program. They will need to review the requirements. Write a Test Plan. Execute the test plan. Write automation for the test cases. File Bugs on any issues discovered. Generate reports on their findings. In order to test the eBay Returns feature they will need to be able to create users on eBay. List items. Purchase Items. Create Orders. File a Return. Walk the return through it’s lifecycle, especially in regards to money movement.
