Title: UI Visual Designer - Locals only posted on 2014-07-22 14:26:53 Job Description:*Responsibilities* · Hand-code HTML and CSS while employing JavaScript to develop user friendly web applications · Take mock designs and convert them to semantic HTML/CSS/JavaScript prototypes · Code pages to be accessible for all users · Work with developers to wire prototypes to back-end code · Collaborate with the Business Analysts and recommend technologies to define innovative solutions for the product owners and developers · Represent the needs of the user throughout discovery, design, and development; balances business needs, user experience, and technical feasibility · Establish and follow company design standards, best practices and usability guidelines *Requirements* · 3+ years of UI experience utilizing hand-coded web design technologies · A portfolio that shows a strong knowledge of UI/UX design · Solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping with emphasis on hand-coding expert-level HTML and CSS · Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction? · Proficiency in Balsamiq Mockup, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools · Experience working with style frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery UI, SASS or LESS. · Familiarity with User Experience architecture and its impact on an application · BA/BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Information Systems with strong experience in web scripting or related degree · Experience working in a .net/TFS/Visual Studio 2012 environment.
