Job Description:Partner with the business system owners and Enterprise
Architecture to evaluate, design, develop and implement technology solutions
Provide technical leadership for the application life cycle in the areas of
secure code requirements, system performance measurements, quality metrics,
design reviews, agile methodology, unit testing practices, application
support, defect troubleshooting, and resolution
Ensure solutions are quality based and incorporate LEAN practices for
simplifying business processes.
- Design and develop complex systems and their related interfaces
incorporating common services as appropriate
- Serve as a mentor and idea leader in developing others by leading code
reviews, presenting technology debriefs, and sharing best practices
- Stay actively engaged in the technology industry and understand how
the evolving technologies can benefit our organization
- Continually seek to improve applications including system performance,
functionality, code efficiency, and code defects
- Develop and maintain appropriate system documentation throughout the
system life cycle including design, development, test, support, change
release, and implementation documentation
- Provide application support including developing and implementing
production application monitors, timely problem identification and
resolution
- Own the technical aspects of a major system, ensuring the long term
vision is achieved
Job Requirements:
- *Looking for a senior web developer (5+ years) that can do both UI and
middle tier development, using C#, ASP.Net, SQL, Javascript, Jquery, HTML,
CSS that has experience with Agile and CI, TDD, Nunit *
- *strong UI experience*
- Extensive experience in programming in .NET/C# technologies required
- Experience working in XML, JavaScript and web services required
- Experienced in Agile development environments.
*Preferred:*
- · AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript
- · HTML5, CSS, XML and JSON
- · Fundamentals of object-oriented design
- · Experience creating custom UI controls, consuming and creating
RESTful APIs
- · Microsoft products and technologies
- · Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architectural and design skills
- · Layered system architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVP)
