*Job Title ** : **Project Manager* *Location** : **Cheyenne, WY* *Duration** : 12+ Months* *Required Skills:* · Must have the proven ability and experience in planning, developing, executing and monitoring large & diverse IT data system projects · Using PMI (PMP or Agile) project management principles and practices including an Agile Methodology to deliver projects on schedule, within budget. · Past experience in developing and managing IT systems with high volume, variety and velocity of data from heterogeneous data sources. · Database experience and/or knowledge, including schema development, data extraction, transformation and loading, along with data best practices, is required. · Must have the proven ability to build and motivate project teams comprised of internal and external resources. · Must be have the ability to effectively manage contractors in the best interest of the state and the project aligned with the scope of work and project goals. · Must have an understanding of data security and related best practices. · Provide expertise in developing and administering the *change management process*, including configuration management, while resolving disruptions and project delays. · Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to accurately convey project goals, requirements, status and project options to all stakeholders including the ability to communicate detailed technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders. · Contractor must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Project Management · Or at least five (5) years of experience performing Project Management/Business Analyst functions in an Information Technology environment (including software, hardware, and network infrastructures). · Preference will be given to candidates with a Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
