Title: SAP DATA MANAGER posted on 2014-08-12 14:02:18 Job Description:*SAP Data Manager* Location: Morton, IL Duration: 9 months *Description:* *Summary:* Responsible for working with end users on the SAP application's integration and functionality; determine those technology inadequacies and /or deficiencies that can affect the functional area's ability to support or meet the organizational goals as well as lead enterprise applications integration efforts and oversee the validation of the associated work products. *Education/Experience:* Bachelor's degree in data management or production operations systems preferred. 2-4 years of related work experience. *Skills and Competencies:* Experience with SAP in product data management roles, including customer master, material master, Vendor Master, etc. Ability to provide maintenance and manipulation of document information records in SAP. High level of competency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to create and maintain informational databases and reports using these tools. Ability to collaborate with peers and customers to gain cooperation and/or conduct presentations of technical information project activities. Professional demeanor with ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways. *Major Job Duties:* Collects and analyzes data to support master data quality. Interfaces with several business and IT teams to ensure coordination of data across functional lines. Works with a large amount of data that must be organized in an understandable format. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, generally instructions on new assignments. *Additional Job Details:* This position is for the SPLSA Master Data team working with SAP's Service Parts Management (SPM) software. This candidate will work with other IT analysts and business users to ensure the integrity of data and processes used by the SPM software. This candidate will also be involved with testing and implementation of data interfaces, conversions, and audits.
