*Duration: 3 Months +* *Client: State of AZ* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Interview - Skype* *--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------* *Additional Requirements:* -Intermediate experience with Windows (10+ years) -Intermediate experience with UNIX (2+ years) - Intermediate experience with Java (1-2 years) - Advanced experience with SVN (Subversion), GIT (4+ years) - Advanced experience with Jenkins/Maven/Nexus (4+ years) -Advanced experience with Agile Scrum (2+ years) -Intermediate experience with QA Plans (2+ years) *Additional Preferred Qualifications:* - Intermediate experience with Oracle PL/SQL (1-2 years) - Beginner experience with SQL Server, and My SQL (1+ years) - Advanced experience with Waterfall (5-10 years) - Intermediate experience with Test Scripts, Test cases, Test Tools (QTP), and Selenium (2+ years) - Intermediate experience with Use Case Tools/UML, Web Design, and wire framing tools (2-3 years). ========================================================= *Build/Release Manager Job Description:* - Develop Release Management framework and implement standards, processes, and controls for configuration and release activities within a fast pace Agile/SCRUM environment - Admin level expertise in SVN and exposure to predominant branching strategies. - Architect and implement metrics required to bring transparency in to the migration of code from development, testing, staging, through production - Maintain development branches within code repository to ensure consistency of code check-ins and applicability of related branches and run merges of code across branches - Design, implement and configure build environment for projects including automated builds, packaging and installation processes. - Conduct source code promotion activities between environments from Development to Production. - Execute and troubleshoot manual/automated builds, identify the root cause for a failed build and resolve the issues. - Configure and maintain Build Server - Manage daily responsibilities of supporting the build and release needs of agile scrum teams - Configure and maintain Version Control and Bug Tracking Software - Design & Implement reliable build/test automation framework - Oversee the service reliability and software quality control for releases - Manage timely resolution of all critical and/or complex problems with the different platforms in all environments including the necessary communication to stakeholders - Maintain stack diagrams, configuration information, release history for all environments, and communication to all stakeholders including clients - Manage production release process that ensures the reliability and availability of the platform - Maintain up to date documentation in support of the different platforms/programs - Setup and support of source code repositories *QUALIFICATIONS:* - Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree a plus - Tools: SVN (Subversion), GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Oracle , Java - ITIL Transition Certified Preferred - Very strong Project Management experience performing ITIL RM /SCM activities - 10 or more years of professional experience in Managing Build and Release engineering, Java development, product development or testing in UNIX environment - Knowledge of RSCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.) - Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work with customers, developers, testing, product management, support staff - Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile programming framework - In-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployments - Ability to learn new skills quickly as needed - Self-starter with ability to handle multiple, concurrent priorities - Strong negotiation and customer relations skills Thanks and have a nice day! ____________________________ *Vara Prasad* SmartWorks, LLC… a division of <http://www.itechus.com/> 55 Carter Drive, Suite 107, Edison, NJ 08817 USA D: 732-853-0768; E-Mail: pra...@smtworks.com www.smtworks.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
