Title: Windows System Network Admin posted on 2014-10-06 19:25:35 Job Description:*Windows System Admin* *NYC* *Full Time* •5+ years of solid Windows system administration and engineering experience supporting a production environment •Well developed and demonstrable understanding of Computer Science principles, strong networking concepts; OSI network layers, TCP/IP, routers, switches, systems and servers such as DHCP, DNS and hands-on experience of system and network security •Well versed in Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 administration tasks, such as installation, configuration, management, lock down, security, patching and updating •Experience with Active Directory (Domain trust, site and services, group policy), IIS, DNS and other Microsoft solutions •Strong Knowledge and experience of RAID, NTFS and Share Permissions. *Network/Security:* · Solid experience with Network Security, End User and Windows Operating System security, Cisco Routers, Switches and firewalls, including Layer 2 & 3 switch configurations. · Experience in Cyber Security procedures, audit compliance and policies implementations, and enforcement. · Experience in vulnerability management, network scanning and securing ecommerce platforms. · Experience with SIEM, IPS/IDS, VMware, Hyper-V, Incident Response, and cloud providers. · Solid understanding of LAN/WAN Network Protocols, ASA Security appliances. · Experience in setup and configuration of VoIP security, IPsec/SSL VPN technologies, NAS, SAN and large attached storage arrays. · Experience with monitoring, capacity management and support of high availability environments. · Experience with remote data center design, multi-tenancy, and DR design as a plus. · Know how with troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a complex and distributed environment · Ability to write scripts using vbscript or PowerShell · Experience with Sysprep and Virtualization · CISSP, CCNA, MCSE or other certifications are preferred.
