*Interview mode: Phone than F2F. Job Description: *•The Trading Risk Control team is at the centre of all electronic trading across the firm. We are responsible for managing risk management applications across equity and fixed income business units. Applications owned by TRC Team interface with all trading systems to fulfil regulatory rules and internal risk requirements. •This senior technologist role is primarily in development, coding, testing, and deployment of critical, extremely low-latency trading risk check systems in C++. •Additional responsibilities include coordinating with other internal technology teams to build, test, and implement exciting new functionalities and to improve existing plant infrastructure. •Team-oriented environment. *Required Skills:* •Experience in low-latency server side process development and optimization techniques is required. •Strong English communication skills required. •Expert C++ programming knowledge •Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. We need someone who interacts well with the team and is comfortable in a trading floor environment. •UNIX / Linux skills, the majority of the system runs on Linux •Need to be able to handle pressure well, we are a very busy team and production problems need to be fixed quickly. •The desire to learn *Preferred Skills:* •Scripting, DB SQL, KDB knowledge a plus. •Scripting (Perl, Shell, etc.) •Database (SQL, DB design, etc.) •Q code knowledge on KDB •Equity trading application experience (especially the FIX protocol) •Basic understanding of equity markets and derivatives.
