PROJECT MISSION/SCOPE: * Design and development of ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> 4.0 web applications in C# and SQL Server 2008 databases within the Department of Technology to implement a Contracts Database application for the use in the Department of Human Assistance. Additional duties may include requirements writing, technical analysis documentation, C# programming, and database design with SQL Server backend. *2. ROLE DEFINITION: * This position will implement an application written in ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> 4.0 and SQL Server 2012 in Application Services Section. Support will include the testing and installation into production program and training appropriate staff. Additional functions may include providing production support in the form of analysis and repair when required. Position will work with customers in the analysis, design application systems, development and support of programs critical to the support of the department. Job Requirements: *3. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: * Essential Knowledge: This position requires a sound knowledge of Applications and database design, C#, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> 4.0, SQL Server 2008, SSIS, SQL Reporting services, Team Foundation Server. The position requires a person who can communicate well, have a good computer science background, work under minimum supervision, who pays close attention to detail, who is able to follow standards and procedures, who can work under stressful conditions and who can work with others of a non-technical type. *4. DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: * The desirable candidate will not only have C#, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> and SQL Server background, but will also be knowledgeable in Object Oriented Programming and Internet Information Services. Use of the Helpdesk system is a desirable, though not required, trait.
