The Cognos Lead Developer will be primarily involved in assigning tasks to other developers, collecting the status from developers, providing the necessary solution to developers to develop their reports, working with BI architect to resolve issues/road blocks, reviewing developed reports/queries, developing reports using Cognos Suite (Candidate MUST have STRONG experience/skills with Cognos Suite on DW or BI projects). Experience with SQL programming against an Oracle RDBMS on data warehouse or business intelligence projects Experience with business intelligence tools including IBM Cognos Experience with development and support using dimensional/star-schema based data structures including fact tables (commonly referred to as Kimball Experience designing and developing Cognos (version 8.2 and above) reports using Cognos Suite Experience designing and developing Cognos Framework Manager Model version 8.2 and above) .
