Duration:- FullTime Exp.:- 8-10 years ============================ *Role:- Build Release Engineer* *REQUIRED SKILLS:* • Understanding and working experience of Cloud computing & Automation. • Highly Motivated with passion on automation, self-learner and team player • 3+ years of Cloud automation experience with Chef and Ruby • 3+ years of experience working with REST or Soap APIs • 3+ year of experience with cloud provider SDKs and/or CLIs • 2+ years of work with Amazon AWS and/or Verizon Enterprise Cloud • Proficient with using knife, attributes, resources, databags, bootstrap, ohai, chef-client, berkshelf, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), GIT, Jenkins and Yum • Proficient in Chef Recipes and Cookbook development • Experience with orchestration tools for Cloud automation • Knowledge of infrastructure automation and infrastructure as software concepts • Knowledge of private Chef architecture • Experience with orchestration tools for Cloud automation • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Ant, Unix Shell, Python) *MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS:* • Develop fully automated deployment processes using Opscode Chef and other scripts • Develop comprehensive code comments and code documentation • Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to guide the team in crafting and implementing. • Work with different teams to understand integrations with GE systems to include, but not limited to Service-Now and IDM • Ensure software quality assurance and adherence to standards and processes • Provide timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders, and users on issue status and resolution • Drive increased efficiency and effectiveness in the deployments scripts • Train and mentor team on development • Understands customer requirements and contribute to the development solutions and projects • Creates system documentation/play book and participates in requirements, design and code reviews • Performs defect corrections for ensuring quality • Provides oral and written status to GE leadership team • Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates =========================================== *In case you are not looking for the change at this point of time please refer your colleagues, Friends etc.* *Regards* *Deepak* *United Software Group Inc.* 565 Metro Place S.
