Job Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing and
maintaining web applications that are used internally by the organization
various departments. In addition to actual web development and programming,
the candidate will be involved in the planning and development of specs,
project plans, and other supporting documentation and processes and aid in
planning future infrastructure requirements.

Technology Stack:
* Oracle, My SQL or MS-SQL database systems
* PHP, Ruby and other scripting languages, e.g., J Query, Ajax, JavaScript,
CSS, and templating engines (e.g., Smarty)
* Programming tools including: IDEs, *programmer*-*level* text editors, and
batch script utilities
* Terminal tools for Linux server access
* Git, Subversion or other similar version control systems
* Issue-tracking and Scrum-based project management tools
* Mac OS- based, Windows-based or Linux-based personal computers and/or
laptops
* Mac OS, Windows or Linux operating systems
* MS Office suite of applications or comparable open-source office suites




Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Minimum of 1 year of experience with multi-tiered web application
development; experience with PHP, Ruby or other scripting languages (Perl,
Python, etc.)
* Minimum of 1 year of experience developing with modern RDMS database
design and query techniques, e.g., stored procedures, triggers, etc.;
Oracle, MySQL or MS-SQL is acceptable
* Ability to develop web applications using client-side scripting with
JavaScript and HTML
* Ability to manage concurrent projects while meeting project deadlines
* Detail oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a
team
* Ability to work closely with a team using web development best practices,
e.g., code reviews and test-driven development
* Good analytical and problem solving skills.
