*Location*: Mountain View, CA *Duration*: 6 months + *Rate*: DOE *Job Description:* We are looking for a senior technical writer to write system administration/operations documentation and API documentation for a large, complex, enterprise client-server software system. The audience consists of IT professionals (such as network administrators, system administrators, and operators) and software developers. The candidate should have solid experience writing for a technical audience in the following areas: - Describing how to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot large enterprise software systems. - Describing how to use object-oriented APIs to write software for complex systems - Our position will include writing programmer guide (how-to) material in addition to API reference material. The candidate should have a basic understanding of the areas below.
