LOCATION: CHANDLER, AZ DURATION:6+ MONTHS *Communication is key here, must be 8+ on scale of 1 - 10* Must Haves: 1. Good understanding of HTTP / Web protocols. (Must be hands on with javascript) 2. Good reasoning and understanding of problem situations, candidates are tested either during interview or offline for their analytical skills and approach towards problem situations. (Must have). 3. Thorough understanding of security concepts (Must). 4. Good database interaction and SQL understanding ( above average knowledge with willingness to learn). 5. Thorough understanding of core java concepts (Must) Java Developer to participate in agile development on the MasterTax Architecture Redesign project. Design, implement, conduct unit tests, contribute to the application deployment and documents, and mentor the less experienced offshore team members when necessary. Strong analytical and design skills. Strong teamwork skills. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Advanced understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and UML. Required 8 Years Experience with Spring, Hibernate (or other JPA libraries), Ehcache, and Terracotta/Coherence. Required 8 Years Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). Required 8 Years Experience with XML related technologies, especially XSL/XPATH and DTD/Schema. Required 8 Years Experience with Java XML APIs, especially WWWC DOM and dom4j. Required 8 Years Experience with Web Services (SOAP and/or REST). Required 8 Years Experience deploying and troubleshooting Apache & Oracle Weblogic servers. Required 8 Years Experience with relational database platforms preferably Oracle 11g. Required 5 Years Experience developing multi-threaded and distributed systems. Required 5 Years Experience working on performance and scalability issues in large-scale enterprise systems. Required 5 Years Experience using common source code control tools, especially SVN. Required 5 Years Experience with continuous integration development environments. Required 5 Years Good working knowledge of AJAX and javascripts frameworks. Required 5 Years Working familiarity with common server operating systems, especially Linux Required 5 Years Agile software development experience: Scrum Process, Extreme Programming (XP).
