Exp.:- 8+ years ============================ *JOB DESCRIPTIONS:* looking for a QA Lead located in Duluth, GA (Local) for a *8 month assignment*. Candidate will translate customer requirements, recommend system solutions and formulate detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. We are looking for a top level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with strong business application knowledge. May serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge *Key Accountabilities * - *Experience with CMMI or other quality system processes * - *4+ years experience with Software Application testing* techniques and quality assurance practices. - 4+ years experience with all phases of the test cycle (Test planning, Test case development, test execution, regression & system test) - Hands on test script creation and execution experience in a Web/Java environment desired - Experience logging and tracking defects - Experienced testing web based applications on mutliple browsers - *Experience w/ test management tools (Compuware QA Director, Mercury test director; Rational Test Manager etc.) Experience creating and validating data to test functional component of application * - *Relational DB/SQL experience (query database to verify test results/find test data etc.) * - Experience testing report functionality (operational and Analytical data warehouse reports) a plus - Experience with test automation development and tools *Specialized Skills: * - *5-7+ years of experience in Manual and Test Automation, including developing automation tools.* - *3+ years of experience SOAP and API Testing * - *3+ years with middle-tier operations and technology such as, C#, Dot Net, Java,Oracle and Unix * - Knowledge of multiple scripting languages; comfortable with constructing sql queries - Work experience using industry standard source control management system - Experience in developing performance test strategies and working knowledge of a variety of performance testing tools - Experience with automation of all phases of testing on multiple platforms - Working experience in conducting performance testing on client server and web based apps *Skills Summary:* - BA Degree preferred and *8-10 years of related experience* or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Midrange application testing experience - Experience with Software Application testing techniques and quality assurance practices. - Experience with all phases of Test planning, Test case development, test Execution, Regression, System testing & User testing - Experience with Test Script design, development and execution - Experience logging and tracking defects - Experience w/ test management tool such as HP Quality Center - Experience with Performance and Load Testing and QTP - Experience with creating and scripting test automation scripts - Experience creating and validating data to test functional component of application - Relational DB/SQL experience (query database to verify test results/find test data etc.) *A Plus* - Identify major developmental or design risks and action plans - Ability to drive, multi-task and manage the testing efforts of small, medium and large size projects; handle multiple projects at same time - Excellent verbal/written communication skills - Ability to prioritize, rank and size test cases - Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively - Works well in a team environment ========================================= *In case you are not looking for the change at this point of time please refer your colleagues, Friends etc.* *Regards* *Deepak* *United Software Group Inc.* 565 Metro Place S.
