Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The primary responsibilities of the Functional Advisor include providing SD
production support for existing R/3 systems.  This includes troubleshooting
and resolving issues, performing needed configuration adjustments,
developing functional specifications, testing proposed solutions and
documenting the resolution.   The Functional Advisor may also perform minor
enhancement work and will serve in an advisory capacity with customers to
review solutions as well as identify and recommend opportunities for
improvement in the existing environment and future developments.



Typically, the Functional Advisor works as a consulting team member or an
individual technical consultant in the development of technical or business
solutions within their AMS practice area. Under limited supervision, the
Advisor works on projects of average difficulty, usually involving single
products or single platforms. The Advisor is responsible for analyzing
customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and
applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing
solutions and strategies. Interpersonal skills are a key component of the
position as it interacts with company and client managers and identifies
additional solutions in client organization on a daily basis. Performance
is typically measured by completion of deliverables and/or achieving
Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.



As an overview: You will be providing deep knowledge and experience
surrounding around the SAP Sales and Sales Contract module and its
integration with other modules. The Primary task is a Conversion of
Customers, Sales Contracts, Sales Orders Production and Sales Order Spares.
You will provide mapping instructions from a SAP 5.0 environment to ECC 6.0
environment. In addition to the Conversion effort there are Functional Spec
documents and SAP Research on Interface to a Freight Cost and Carrier
selection legacy application. Any GTS (Global Trade System) knowledge would
be needed for Customers, and Materials.



Required Skills:

• Qualified candidates must have 3+ years production support experience
including offshore/on-shore staffing models with 4-6 years of overall SD
SAP experience • Broad based SD configuration experience including
implementations and production support for all aspects of the order-to-cash
cycle including customer masters, sales order management, pricing,
shipping, goods issues and billing/invoicing • Experience and deep
knowledge in core SD areas such as pricing, the condition technique, output
determination, copy rules, classification, master data, material
determination and sales order processing & fulfillment • Strong core
consulting skills – communication (oral & written), organization and
planning, customer-facing and interpersonal • A minimum of 1 successful
full-lifecycle SAP implementation as the lead SD expert • Well-developed
system problem solving skills having solved complex business problems
within or across functional areas in SAP • Strong understanding of all
aspects of the SAP implementation lifecycle and a solid grasp of the ASAP &
Run SAP Methodologies • Must have a good grasp of project and program
management methods and tools.

• Experienced in scoping, requirements gathering/definition, configuration,
testing, cutover and support.

• Designed and developed functional specifications for implementations and
integrations in the sales & distribution area • Experienced with the
management of customer demands, progress reporting and status utilizing a
service desk ticketing system such as Remedy • Experienced in a leveraged
resource environment including offshore/on-shore staffing models



Desired Skills:

• Direct business experience/knowledge with sales and distribution
processes • Experience with SAP's Solution Manager tool • Experience
working with ticket management applications such as Remedy • Exposure to
multiple versions of SAP and other applications that run on the NetWeaver
platform • Familiar with system tools for creating RICEF items: CATT, LSMW,
ABAP Query & Report Writer • Some experience in a Big 5 organization •
Knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices



Minimum Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
