Please go through the below position and share resumes to j...@yochanait.com *Position: Infra Release Manager* *Location: Mountain View, CA* *Duration: 6+ months* *We need a Release Manager for sustenance engineering team, responsible for managing production releases of a complex (multi-application) eCommerce eco-system. This is both demanding and challenging role. * *Required:* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field - 2 years of experience managing application releases (non-prod à prod) - 8 years of experience in software development, systems operations or sustenance engineering - Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with large cross-functional work teams - Familiarity with software engineering concepts and standard programming practices - Strong aptitude for defining new processes (self-motivated, driven, great work ethics) - Strong spoken and written communication skills (public address, presentation, articulation) - Exposure to ITIL framework and SOx compliance *Desired:* - Prior experience managing live projects (SDLC) - Formal training in project management principles and practices *Responsibilities:* Release Manager needs to interface and communicate with a large set of performers and stake holders (Dev, QA, UAT, Content, Data, Business, Product Management, PMO, Infra, Vendors and many more) on a daily basis. Highlighting some key responsibilities below: - Prepare Release cutover plan, rollback plan, communication matrix, escalation matrix - Manage risk and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality - Ensure application releases get successfully completed per the plan (measure and monitor progress, coordinate to resolve blockers, highlight deviations, reported issues and their owners) - Coordinate release migration and effort based on the code , content & data migration on different production & non-production environments - Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews - Coordinate Release Planning & Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities - Follow the change management process and adhere with process compliance - Communicate release details and schedules to the Business & Performers as required - Coordinate with release engineers to understand impact with various dependencies with the release scope.
