*Oracle Applications Testing Lead* *Location: Novato, CA.* *Qualifications:* The candidate for the above-captioned position should exhibit the following requirements:- Oracle Applications testing Lead will provide EBS Testing services for our clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. You will work on project teams to lead the testing of Oracle applications that support Validation environments. In addition, this role requires close interaction with clients and the ability to work and communicate with both team members and external stakeholders In this role you will have an opportunity to: - Lead an on-shore/off-shore testing team for a client facing project that is global in nature for the enterprise - Lead the Oracle Apps Testing Projects across testing life cycle stages of Test Planning, Test Design and Test Execution. - Lead Defect management activities and track defects to closure. - Interact with business users to define and review Functional Specifications to understand requirements for enterprise level applications. - Understand client requirements, business processes and map client’s business processes with Oracle Vanilla Business process. Understand the Customizations from the functional documents and also the Interfaces to legacy applications. - Help coordinate Test Case writing deliverables from offshore team on key business processes including across multiple applications - Develop migration testing strategy for Oracle EBS - Plan, design and execute comprehensive testing strategies by analyzing Business Requirements and Design Specifications. Plan and Execute Functional testing, System Integration testing, End to End Testing, UAT coordination etc. - Plan design and execute a test automation strategy - Participate in all Test Lifecycle activities for functional, regression and integration testing - Review Test Deliverable execution and highlight issues/risks and take corrective/preventive actions. - Communicate testing deliverable progress to internal and customer stakeholders. *Required qualifications for this role include:*- Able to lead a team of ~10+ persons and be responsible for the deliverables. - 8+ years of functional testing experience with EBS where you were responsible for Test Planning, Test Case Design/Execution and Defect Management. Experience in testing Oracle Applications projects and sound functional knowledge on Oracle Applications Products such as Financials, SCM. Strong understanding of Enterprise Business Processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash. - Good understanding of Test Management and Test Automation Tools such as HP QC/ALM, HP QTP/UFT, OATS etc. - 8+ years implementing methodologies that require knowledge of automation, manual, performance testing and defect management. - Minimum of 2 enterprise, full lifecycle projects where you led an on-shore/off-shore team in the execution of QAT strategies in a validation environment. Experience in writing Test Plans, Protocols and Scripts in Oracle EBS.
