*Duration:** 1 Year* *Job Description:* The Wealth Management Technology division is looking for Sr. Developer with at least 7-8 years of experience designing and developing high volume, time sensitive transactional applications reporting for the financial industry. The candidate will be involved in the enhancing and developing the Reporting solution of Charles River IMS. The candidate will be responsible for, understanding the requirements and developing solutions for Charles River application independently. *Job Duties:* - Responsible for being a developing reports using Crystal reports. - Responsible for developing stored procedures and SQL's supporting the reports. - Responsible for installation and configuration of the reporting servers. - Must understand the details of the requirement and should come up with the report design. - Understanding of Financial system is must. Charles River experience is added advantage. - Provides technical expertise at the highest level with ability to work with multiple team members - Participate in full-life cycle development activities including analysis of business requirements, defining standards, creating technical designs, developing solutions and unit testing. - Responsible for participating in the team’s software design reviews and code reviews per Northern Trust’s standards and industry best practices. - Provide technical analysis for current projects; including participating in research, requirements definition and execution. - Assist in maintenance of developed components, as well as best-practices documentation in division knowledge bases. - Document and/or maintain troubleshooting guides and support procedures. - Provide afterhours fire call support for recently deployed changes and occasional escalation from the Support Team. - Proven ability to handle several assignments simultaneously. - Proven ability to work independently. - Great communication and people skills. *Job Requirements:* At least 7-8 years of experience designing and developing high volume, time sensitive transactional applications for the financial industry using the following: • Crystal Report • Oracle 12c - Understand SQL, procedures, functions and packages.
