*Job Description*: *Experience: 6-8* *Essential Skills:* · Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services. · At minimum, must have experience with AWS services: Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) · Minimum 1 year of experience with automation tools (Chef/Puppet) and scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, PHP, BASH, BOSH, etc. · Minimum 2 years of experience with designing, administering, and supporting enterprise Linux environments. · Minimum 2 years of Infrastructure Architecture experience – compute, networking, storage, infrastructure security Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications: AWS Certification , Experience with virtualization (VMWare) and other Cloud platforms (Azure, Google Compute, ect.) *Essential Skills:* · Responsible for supporting, building and improving Bayer's cloud environment at Amazon Web Services. · Candidate should have a strong Infrastructure Architecture background with experience with virtualization technologies. · Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to teams for application performance and infrastructure issues. · Strong understanding and knowledge of Linux, Automation Tools (Chef and/or Puppet), AWS Services (EC2, Network, ELB, S3/EBS, etc.) or similar Public Cloud platform, and scripting languages (Ruby, Perl or other) is a must. · Candidate should possess broad knowledge of systems infrastructure that power today’s modern and highly available web and mobile applications, with expertise in one or more areas: compute, networking, storage, high availability, cloud security, application performance.
