*Job Details:* *Job Title : SAP Basis Engineer* *Location : Frisco, TX* *Duration : 6+ Months * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Skills needed are SAP knowledge and experience, HANA experience >2 Years; Technical Customer consulting, enhance customer interaction skills on a management; SAP Basis project work experience *POSITION PURPOSE: *• Is responsible for the delivering of the service element assigned to him/her in time / quality / cost. *QUALIFICATIONS: *Detailed expertise and through understanding of a complex task area or excellent knowledge of interdepartmental business processes Training and profession experience University degree with several years of work experience or comparable vocational training with long-time work experience *EXPERT KNOWLEDGE:* Skills needed are SAP knowledge and experience, HANA experience >2 Years; Technical Customer consulting, enhance customer interaction skills on a management; SAP Basis project work experience • Creates concepts to design and optimize ICT production • Prepares decision-making templates • Provides customer-related advice with regard to ICT production • Ensures that requirements are planned and covered • Operates, monitors, controls and carries out fault clearance for applications, middleware and communications components; or assists with order, change and security measures • Processes faults; monitors system efficiency • Provides conceptual advice to customers and colleagues • Ensures uninterrupted operation taking account of the service levels and the security regulations • Operates, monitors, controls and carries out fault clearance for applications, middleware and communication components • Coordinates and carries out order, change and security measures • Processes incidents • Assists with the creation of concepts to optimize operation • Supports and advises customers; assists with requirements planning • Carries out fault clearance for, installs and administers applications, middleware and communications components independently • Operates servers and complex networks • Receives and processes difficult orders • Installs and maintains tools • Release Management • ITIL processes • Excellent customer facing and communication skills • Proven technical problem solving skills • Experience in managing small to medium projects • Experience working with near shore/off shore teams • 1 to 3 years experience managing SAP HANA 1.0 SP 5 – SP7 • 1 to 3 years experience in database administration in Oracle, DB2, Sybase. • Knowledge management in UNIX or Linux operating systems and MS Windows • HANA troubleshooting at OS layer • Knowledge of Backup and Restore activities • Settings parameters for HANA database • Strong knowledge on HANA updates including HANA databases, HANA System copies • HANA installations, upgrades and patching for SAP instances and Databases • SAP HANA Certified Associate Consultant • SAP BASIS and BI Certified Associate is a must • Knowledge in BIG Data and Cloudera is desirable • Analyzes problems and faults on systems, or designs and introduces workflows and plans supporting tools • Develops, designs and plans support concepts • Manages order processing; solves difficult problems • Manages subprojects Task Complexity Develops regulations, concepts and target processes in a complex task area. Collaborates on the development of strategies for specialist units and strategic decisions. Gives comprehensive advice to internal/external customers as well as employees and management. Manages and controls the implementation/application of framework requirements and target processes as well as quality-optimization measures. Completes all operational and organizational tasks/processes independently and autonomously. Collaborates on designing concepts in a difficult task area. Supplies solid information and gives comprehensive advice to internal/external customers..
