*Oracle DBA//HOUSTON,TX//6-12 months contract* The Sr Oracle DBA will be part of DBA team providing Production DBA services for financial applications. Key Qualifications SR DBA with 7 to 10 years- experience as an Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c and SQL 2012 production; DBA on UNIX and Windows in a 24*7 environments; 3+ years-SQL Server 2008-2012 DBA preferred; 3+ years -experience with configuring and managing Data Guard databases in 10g, 11g or 12c; 3+ years in SQL and PL/SQL scripting and tuning; 5+ years in Unix shell scripting; In depth knowledge of Oracle databases; Extensive experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting - drill down approach with O/S, database and application; Database backup and restore; Pro-active database management; Well-developed written and verbal communication skills is a must; BS Computer Science or equivalent degree; Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Preferred Skillset Details SR DBA with 7-10 years’ experience as an Oracle 10g , 11g, 12c and SQL 2008, 2012 or 2014 production DBA on HPUX, Solaris and Windows in a 24*7 environment; 3+ years experience with configuring and managing Data Guard databases; 3+ years in SQL and PL/SQL scripting and tuning; 5+ years in UNIX shell scripting; In depth knowledge of Oracle databases is a must; In depth experience supporting production databases is a must; Extensive experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting - drill down approach with O/S, database and application Database backup and restore Pro-active database management; Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are a must; 3+ years-experience as SQL DBA preferred.
