*Job Title : UNIX Engineer Location : Boston, MA Duration : 6 Months+* *Minimum Requirements: 6+ years UNIX Engineer experience Extensive/current work with Solaris - moderate RH Linux at minimum - -some AIX Solid/current work with Veritas Suite (VCS, File Manger and Volume Manager) VMWare a bonus Description: Unix Administrator/Engineer required to install, configure, manage and support systems software and middleware within the Unix server production environment. This environment consists of approximately 200 central Solaris / AIX / Red Hat Linux / Win2K /VMWare ESX servers. These servers run a variety of software including Veritas Suite, Apache, WebSphere, Siteminder, SonicMQ, LDAP. These servers serve over 20 investment management applications developed in house and used by hundreds of institutional investors worldwide daily. New system software and middleware deployments are typically done 3 to 6 times per month. Will rotate on-call off-hours.
