*Duration – 6 – 9 Months* *Job requirements:* *Job Purpose * The Data Warehouse Sr DBA is responsible for gathering and documenting end-user requirements for the data warehouse, defining the mapping necessary in the logical model that is the basis of the physical database design for the data warehouse, developing functional specifications for end user report requests, developing a process for any necessary cleansing of the data, participating in the data warehouse prioritization process, developing and executing test plans, and developing report sets for new subject area rollouts. *Requirements:* A 6-9 month contract for an expert-level SQL Server DW DBA responsible for selecting, designing and implementing the framework for our data warehouse and reporting system. A senior-level position (7+ years of experience) initially responsible for collaborating with the data warehouse architect on data warehouse system design and implementation, this person will take over ongoing data warehouse development and maintenance once the architect leaves. This person will need to be capable of evolving into a team lead, and must have extensive, current SQL Server development experience.
