*Position: Novell NDS/MS ADS Designer
Location: Trumbull, CT
Duration: 6 months*
Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 8-10 Years
*Technical/Functional Skills *:
- Novell NDS to Active Directory migration experience (min 3-5
projects)
- 3 – 5 Years of working experience in Novell Netware 6, 6.5
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008
- Novell Directory Services 8.8
- VMWARE knowledge
*Experience Required :* Minimum 8 years of working knowledge
in NDS & ADS Migration, Administration
*Roles & Responsibilities :* The individual will work closely with
Application team, Desktop Engineering and Operations to design
and migrate the current
Novell Directory Services environment to Active Directory 2008.
This will include design and
configuration of the directory schema, namespace, tree structure, and access
security and replication
topology.
The candidate will participate
in designing, configuring and implementing the migration of identity data
from
legacy Novell Directory
Services data stores.Work with application owners to develop plans and
procedures to
safely migrate their AD
enabled applications.
Researches, evaluates, and
stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies
Works closely with client to
perform technical and requirements analysis

*Education *: Bachelor or higher
