Role: Sr. SAP XI PI Expert Location: NYC, NY Duration: 6 months Rate: Open all inclusive Description: Responsibilities: Technical and functional design, support, documentation & training for multiple integrated systems through SAP XI . Responsible for development, both functional and technical and the integrations across various systems. Develop with different communication adapters like SFTP,IDOC,RFCs. Develop/support ABAP/xslt/Java mappings. Work with different *SAP* XI(*PI*) integration methodology, EAI, Message Brokers, Messaging Middleware and Workflow. Support of any XI/integration issues. Develop, maintain and enforce data and message management standards and procedures, develop standards for maintaining data and message integrity and security and develop strategies for data recovery. Design, configure and test system software, debug or troubleshoot XI problems and manage QA and testing processes. Trouble shoots issues within the applications as well as any integration points Works closely with both internal & external resource(s) as needed Understands the flow of information/data through the business and systems that you support. Analysis and documentation of system requirements, including interacting with users to understand business processes designing applications including interacting with other developers to meet those requirements. Communicate regularly with manager: the status of active projects, open issues and decisions that need to be made. Communicate regularly with your peers to maximize synergy between systems and to coordinate efforts on large projects. Evaluate project risks and issues and be able to provide or offer solutions. Follow change management process as a product of systems implementations. Interpersonal Skills Establish and maintain good working relationships with the peers, management & leaders of the business area supported as well as within IT structure. Ensure the smooth integration and / or roll-out of systems into the operational environment by communicating and coordinating closely with the affected functional and technical areas Customer and results focused. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Leadership & Communication Skills Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills. Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical, and senior management audiences. Assume accountability for ALL projects that you and / or your team are responsible and involved in. Fully support the PMO process and other standards as adopted by the IT Department. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree mandatory. Preferable in computer science or mathematics. Three to six years work experience in SAP XI Netweaver 7.0 system and real time and batch integration with different systems. SAP exchange infrastructure certification Experience in SAP ABAP. Experience in warehouse management systems and operations. Experience in designing interfaces for SAP to WMS systems Experience in SAP R3 modules. Excellent oral and written communications Strong experience in analyzing system requirements, including interacting with users to understand business processes, and designing applications to meet those requirements.
