*Position: Actuate Reporting Developer Location: Irvine, CA Duration: 6-12 Months Rate : Negotiable * Job Description: • 3+ years of Actuate Reporting development experience, especially with version 7,8,and 9. • Thorough knowledge of Actuate Reporting applications development and tools. • Thorough knowledge of Actuate Reporting client/server technical architectures. • General knowledge of Unix System. • General knowledge of database technologies. • General knowledge of desktop software. • Demonstrated ability to work in teams, participate in the development of objectives and resolution of issues. • Acquires and effectively demonstrates any additional knowledge and skill requirements as requested. Expectations: • Participates in the porting efforts of the Actuate reports from version 7/8 to version 11SP1. • Ensures the quality of the porting by conducting thorough unit and system testing and issue resolution. • Participates in meetings with applications developers and technology & operations staff, identifying issues/concerns, and ensuring appropriate follow-up. • Good communication skills • Provides status updates and reports to project management and development team members on a consistent basis. • Performs other work as required or requested as well as additional assignments.
