*Location: Hartford CT* *Duration: 8 months* * * *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * *This is an Information Architect role. * Candidates will be responsible for modeling project-level data models for applications under development. Responsibilities include the coordinating and working with resources from the business, development, and database administration areas to develop an information solution that advances best practices within Information Architecture. The Information Architect has responsibility for the gathering of data requirements through facilitated sessions or Use Cases, and designing data models based on those requirements. The Information Architect has responsibility for review and approval of the data model by the project team. The Information Architect must be able to influence the project team to design and build quality data models. The Information Architect is required to handle multiple project assignments with minimal direction, manage and negotiate work load with project manager, escalate issues as necessary to his/her management, and possess excellent communication skills.
