Client is looking for a developer profile (3-5 years of experience). • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with 3-5 years of hands on ETL experience using IBM Datstage 8.X(preferably 8.5) components. B.S. degree in Computer Science or computer related field is desirable. • Should have extensive experience with IBM Datastage 8.5 Designer, Director, Manager and Administrator. • Should have strong technical expertise writing Transformer stage, Aggregate stage, CDC Stage other ETL functions within Datastage using best practices and coding techniques for the data warehouse design, development and testing. • Should have hands on experience using MQ Connect, JDBC, DB2 connect and SIEBEL adapters and effectively implement implicit/explicit transaction management. • Experience with network protocols like SMTP, HTTP and LDAP configuration. • Experience with MS-SQL server 2005 is a mandatory. • Should have experience implementing multiple protocol bindings: Web services (SOAP/HTTP), Java Message Service (JMS), Extensible Markup Language (XML), messages. • The consultant will be involved in production support for various applications in Data Stage 8.5. • Experience with version control software (preferably Microsoft visual source safe) is a plus. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
