Skills Required:
*       Business Objects: (versions XIr2 and XI3)
o       Administration, architecture, performance tuning, deployment &
maintenance: Expert
o       Development:  Intermediate
o       XIr2:  Expert
o       XI3:  Expert
o       Xcelsius (Dashboards):  Basic

*       i2:
o       Deployment & maintenance:  Expert
o       Administration, architecture, performance tuning:  Expert
o       MileMaker (Rand McNally):  Intermediate
*       Kalido:
o       Administration, architecture, performance tuning, deployment &
maintenance: Intermediate
*       Application troubleshooting:  Expert
*       IIS:  Intermediate
*       Java J2EE:  Intermediate

Responsibilities:
*       Provide technical support on infrastructure matters for the
following:
o       3rd level support for Business Objects on 8x5 basis
o       2nd level support for i2 on 24x7 basis, including rotating on-call
assignments
o       2nd level support for Kalido on 8x5 basis
*       Create and maintain BusObj & i2 Standard Operating Procedures and
"playbook" documents
*       Coordinate across ITSO groups to deliver satisfactory uptime and
availability metrics for BusObj, i2, and Kalido
*       Troubleshoot and resolve deficiencies in KPI satisfaction for these
technologies
*       Coordinate with vendor representatives for escalated technical
questions and resolution requests
*       Plan for the capacity and upgrades of these technologies in order to
meet business requirements and technical concerns
*       Ensure alignment of application development efforts with internal
best practices
*       Provide architectural guidance to new development efforts to ensure
smooth transition to support
