We've an urgent requirement with one of our *Direct client* for "*Sr. Ab Initio Development Team Lead"* Location *Warren, NJ* *Position: Sr. Ab Initio Development Team Lead with Architect Experience* *Location: Warren, NJ* *Duration: 6+ Months* Start Date: ASAP * * *Job Description:* *Looking for Sr. Ab Initio Development Team Lead with Architect Experience* • 8+ years of Data Warehouse development experience • 5+ years hands-on experience with Ab Initio. In-depth understanding of the GDE, core component sets (i.e. Dataset, Database, Transform, Look-up, De-partition & Partition), file management utilities and usage of environment variables. • Experience with advanced Ab Initio capabilities; conduct it, BRE , continuous flows, MUT, Pset, Vectors etc. • Directly responsible for at least 1 comprehensive Data Warehouse architecture • Hands-on experience designing, developing and optimizing complex solutions that move and/or manipulate large volumes of data • Hands-on experience and expertise analyzing and optimizing performance of extracts, loads and transformations • Hands-on experience and proficiency with SQL • Hands-on experience and proficiency with Unix and shell scripting • Strong knowledge and use of BI/DW development methodologies, standards and procedures • Resourceful, self starter, little supervision needed • Good team work and communication skills • Understanding of change management and automation/repeatability • Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks • Experience leading onshore and offshore resources to deliver against a plan, manage and resolve issues, and report status • Demonstrates the ability to effectively size and estimate development efforts • Demonstrates the ability to present technical issues to non-technical audiences * * *Responsibilities:* • Lead the analysis, design, development and testing of the most complex of Ab Initio software components.
