Please go through the Job Description and send me your updated resume with contact information. *Title: Business Analyst Duration: 1 year Location – Morristown, NJ* Role Summary: Business Analyst for extensive suite of insurance applications covering the full spectrum of commercial and specialty lines business processing. Solutions include ASP vendor applications, third party software and some custom solutions. Primary responsibilities include business requirements, functional design, data and rules requirements, testing support, deployment support and ownership for business analysis standards and templates. Specific focus and skills within Marine Insurance applications. This role willdeliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, growth environment and create capabilities to meet business financial targets. Key Duties: Elicit and identify business requirements for complex business objectives with respect to products, processes, distribution, compliance and reporting. Ensure requirements are traceable to test cases and delivered system functions. Facilitate, lead and contribute to business requirements definition and development. Guide business team members through creation of requirements artifacts. Leverage insurance knowledge on all subject matters including Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Compliance, Actuarial and Financial with a particular emphasis on Marine Insurance. Manage system requirements through all phases of development and maintenance on multiple projects and applications. Collaborate and manage relationships with multiple vendor partners including ASP vendor and additional third party providers (data, software, consultants). Define and plan requirements phases for IT-centric projects including operational data conversions, historical data conversions and system retirements. In response to company acquisitions, create repeatable processes for same. Implement industry best-practices in requirements management and contribute to on time/on budget solution delivery. Negotiate and select appropriate release content to meet most critical business needs.
