Job Role: IBM i(AS/400, iSeries) Consultant Location: Tupelo, Mississippi. Duration: Contract Senior person with leadership skills. Lead and direct others in supporting, managing, developing and delivering solutions for Commercial/Manufacturing business environment. Oversee daily operations and direct development staff on activities including technical guidance and the preparation of technical specifications. Lead person as site architect for new or change requirements. Strong technical background in the following – Must Have • Knowledge of IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) • Knowledge of RPG IV, CL, DDS, SQL and iSeries programming tools Good technical background in the following – Desired • Windows Servers • SQL Server DB • VB Scripting Application Experience – Nice to Have • Infor MAPICS • ThruPut APS • Web Applications / General Knowledge General Skills • Excellent problem solving skills • Logical thinker • Strong background in manufacturing/operations • Solution driven • Good aptitude for business applications • Good communication skills Additional Duties include: • Meet with users to understand requirements.
